The murder saga, Alibej: It started after I gave Talo Çela's

Following the trial for the "Golden Bullet" case, the repentant justice minister, Erion Alibej, testified today, providing details about events, meetings and people who, according to him, were involved in the plot to eliminate him.

Alibej has stated that he had secretly returned to Albania, through the green border in Qafëbotë, after being wanted. According to his testimony, as soon as he arrived he contacted Genc Tafili, whom he invited to his apartment. Tafili came together with Dorian Duli, and according to Alibej, both were armed.

"Tafili told me that Dorian had a meeting with Talo Çela and two other people, so we immediately left the apartment. I pestered Genci to come to the meeting again, but he refused," Alibey testified.

He further mentioned Suel Çela, whom he had asked to meet with Kamer Mehje. “Suel told me that Kamer wasn’t coming because the ‘katunarët’ were there, referring to the Çapja family. He suggested we meet at the market. I didn’t want to seem like I was afraid, so I went.”

The meeting took place in a bar near the market, in the presence of Kamer Mehja and Mario Çela. “I asked Kamer if it was necessary to set off fireworks on the day my family members were killed. He denied any connection and said he did not know my brother, Endrit.”

According to Alibej's testimony, another key character was Ervis Nano, whom he knew as Ermali.

After leaving Peqin prison, he went to Fushë Krujë, where he met another person known as “Çoli Shkodrani” (real name, Flobenc Meçe). In this meeting, Çoli had mentioned a meeting with Altin Ndoci, and later with Talo Çela, Mikael Kamami, and Altin Ndoci.

According to the testimony, the issue of the physical elimination of Erion Alibej was also raised at this meeting. “The question was: 'How much money do you want? Set the figure yourself, how much do you want to kill Erion?'”

Alibey said he had strong suspicions that he was being asked to leave the apartment to ambush him. "Dorian often invited me to go out, to calm down. I realized it was no coincidence."

He mentioned the most trusted aide, Ardian Çollaku, now deceased, who according to him had access to the opponents and was present in the conversations and the distribution of money. "He once asked Mikael Qosa why this war started. Qosa had told him: 'Indriti (Alibej's brother) was very terrible'."

Alibej claims that he had equipped Çollaku with the encrypted application EnchoChat and had kept him financially after his release from prison, precisely to have him as a source of information from within the circle of rivals.
