The DP requested the invalidation of the result in the Kukës Region, KAS

The Appeals and Sanctions Commission, KAS, has rejected the DP's request for the invalidity of the results in the Kukës Region. The KAS has upheld the CEC's decision on the election results in this region.

The Democratic Party requested a repeat of the elections in the Kukës Region. Through its legal representative, Franci Nuri, the DP filed a request with the CEC to declare the May 11 elections in this region invalid.

In the submitted request, the DP lists the reasons why, in its opinion, the elections in Kukës should be annulled. 

The DP claims facts and evidence of problems during the campaign, such as the use of state assets for the purpose of elections, vote buying and selling, or irregularities with the diaspora vote.
