Tickets sold at exorbitant prices for the "Albania-Serbia" match, 3

Three people have been arrested and two others have been released after being caught selling tickets for the much-anticipated "Albania-Serbia" match at prices several times higher than those set by the Albanian Football Federation (AFF).

Tirana Police announced that the operation codenamed "Attention" was carried out following information provided by investigators for Economic and Financial Crimes, which showed that tickets were being illegally traded through an account on the social network Instagram.

As part of this operation, citizens LM, 34 years old, AT, 23 years old and IL, 24 years old were arrested. Meanwhile, criminal proceedings have been initiated against citizen E. Sh., 25 years old and a 16-year-old minor.

All persons are accused of the criminal offenses of "Market Manipulation" and "Hiding Income".

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further action.
