Oltion Buzi surrenders to Tirana police

Oltion Buzi, the owner of "Buzi Store", who has been wanted since January, has surrendered to the Tirana Police. According to information, he surrendered about a week ago, following accusations of tax evasion.

Buzi was wanted by authorities, accused of failing to declare 3.7 million euros in income. The Tirana prosecutor's office announced in January that his firm, "Buzi Sport", was using an unauthorized computer system to monitor and issue tax invoices, issuing untaxed vouchers.

Also, through this system, the firm has issued invoices with values greater than those declared for tax purposes, thus avoiding fiscal obligations. After inspections at 8 points of its business, computer units, phones, tablets and an amount of over 8 million lekë, which were not justified by legal documentation, were seized as material evidence.

Authorities are continuing their investigations into this matter and are examining the impact of Buzi's actions on the economy and finances.
