Protesters continue their march through the streets of Tirana more than four hours after the start of the evening rally, demonstrating their determination to continue the protest that has now entered its 12th day.

After gathering on the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard, thousands of citizens have crossed some of the main axes of the capital and headed this evening towards the Astir area, amid calls against the government and demands for political change.

The number of participants has increased significantly compared to the first days of the protest, while citizens say they will continue to mobilize until their demands are met.

"Resign" and "Not 2 thousand, but 200 thousand until there is justice," were some of the chants that accompanied the march throughout the evening.

Organizers and participants have also announced another rally on June 13, calling on Albanians in the diaspora to join the protest and be part of what they describe as a civic movement for change.
