The protests that began against the project in Zvërnec and continued with the articulation of political demands for the resignation of the Rama government, according to socialist MP Ilva Gjuzi, have neither narrative nor direction, but are harming tourism.

Invited to A2 CNN, she said that their responsibility is to create space for dialogue, while denying government instructions to crack down on influencers.

" It's not a homogeneous group at all, it's a very mixed group, but we are there to listen to them. Protest is a legitimate democratic tool, but our responsibility is to listen to them and to create a space for maybe and to have a dialogue. Then the issue of dialogue is that it requires two parties. You can't do it alone."

Due to her interest in tourism, Gjuzi emphasized that at first she followed the protests with great interest, but according to her, they have now lost their initial focus.

"From the point of view of the development of that investment in the Zvërnec area where I believe the initial focus of the protest. So I continue and follow it in that kind of line. Then I realized that the narrative of the street has changed several times or rather a very clear narrative is not being articulated. From my point of view, protests at any moment definitely do good to society and especially when there are young people who finally feel that they need to be included in the political discourse.

"But in terms of tourism, I don't think it's the best time, because as I said, this is the peak of the season and from the point of view of income. The idea is that from season to season we try to repair some of those previous problems. I think that if the discussion, as it began, about the development of a certain area of ​​the territory of the Republic of Albania with a foreign investment of a significant size and with a vision different from what has been done before in Albania, I think that there should be more talk, if we talk with facts and talk in terms of improving the vision or the project of the concept idea ," she said.
