Fatal accident in Tirana, 48-year-old man dies

A serious accident resulting in death was recorded on Wednesday evening in Laknas.

According to preliminary information from Tirana Police, a vehicle collided with a motorcycle on "Mother Teresa" Street, causing the loss of life of the motorcycle driver. 

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle has been escorted to the police station, while the investigation team has begun work to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.

On 10.06.2026, at around 20:30, on "Mother Teresa" Street, in Laknas, the vehicle driven by citizen EV, 20 years old, collided with the motorcycle driven by citizen LG, 48 years old.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the motorcycle lost his life, while the driver of the vehicle was taken to the police station for further procedural actions.


The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of the accident.
