"Don't leave the front!", former officer in protest: They give me

Former Police Officer, Krenar Ahmeti, joined the protest held in front of the Prime Minister's Office in Tirana, where he delivered a speech to citizens, calling for the continuation of the rallies and sustainability in the protest.

He especially addressed the young people in commanding tones, urging them not to retreat and to continue the "front" of protest, as he called it.

"I will not leave the colonel's square, I give you an order: do not leave the front, do not leave the front, because these are decisive moments," Ahmeti said.

He also spoke about his professional life, stating that his training as an officer has cost millions of euros and that today he is in a different economic situation, working as a driver and taking early retirement.

"You all paid 3 million euros to train me. Today I work as a driver, I take early retirement, and they give me a pension to stay wise ," he said.

Ahmeti continued with calls for resistance and continued participation in the protest, emphasizing that the situation, according to him, requires a strong civic and institutional response.
