When the Ayatollah of Albania clashes with the Ayatollahs of Iran

The citizens' protest has not only brought clashes between Rama, protesters, bloggers or internal tensions within the socialist group. For several days, representatives of Iran have been sending messages to Rama, after the latter declared that the Iranians had spread their tentacles in the protest.

A day ago, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei responded to the Albanian prime minister by advising him to listen to the citizens' revolt.

"Calm down, Mr. Prime Minister. It was YOU, sir, who started this. Instead of writing a long pamphlet filled with baseless accusations against Iran, take a moment to listen to your people," the Iranian official wrote.

Today, Rama reacted again with a post on the “X” platform, continuing the accusations that Tehran is part of the protest. “Here is the government of the Tehran ayatollahs officially joining the protest, even with slogans in Albanian, just like those who turned it from an environmental protest into a protest for the overthrow of the government!” Rama wrote.

Moreover, Rama, who has been attacking, insulting, and cursing protesters and supporters of the protest since day one, tells the Iranian official that in Albania, citizens are free to oppose the government, seek justice, and protest without fear of punishment.

"This is called democracy. In Albania, people are free to protest against their government, criticize the prime minister, demand justice and elections, without fear of prison ," Rama writes.

As a reminder to the Prime Minister, at a meeting held in Durrës for the RID project, citizens who protested in front of the City Hall were escorted to the police station.

The gathering was carried out precisely on Rama's orders, even though none of the citizens committed any act that contradicted the law. They demanded that the prime minister be held accountable for providing rental bonuses to families whose homes were expropriated and demolished as part of the TID project.
