"Arrest Belinda", "Rama resign"/ Protesters march in Tirana,

A large number of citizens continued their march through the streets of the capital this evening, as part of the protest that has entered its ninth day, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and holding him accountable for what they describe as misgovernment and corruption.

After gathering in front of the Prime Minister's Office, the protesters moved to some of Tirana's main axes, marching with banners and slogans against the government. While passing by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, the crowd repeatedly chanted "Arrest Belinda" and "Rama resign", referring to former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, against whom they filed corruption charges.

The march was accompanied by other calls such as "New Albania", "Join us" and "Get up from the coffee", slogans that, according to the organizers, aim to encourage civic engagement and broader participation in the protest.

Citizens stated that their dissatisfaction is related to corruption, the rising cost of living, the departure of young people from the country and the lack of trust in institutions. As the protest continues to expand, organizers have warned that the mobilization will continue in the coming days until their political demands are met.
