Pro-Family Coalition requests the Ministry of Health: Cancel the order for

The Pro-Family Coalition asks the Ministry of Health to repeal the order for hormonal therapies for children over 13 years old.

The leader of this coalition, Akil Pano, made a public statement in front of the ministry building regarding the Ministry's legal initiative. The ministry emphasizes that the order does not affect children and does not provide for the provision of hormones for health consultations.

" The Albanian Coalition for Family and Life together with the Muslim Forum of Albania and also represented by the Diaspora for a Free Albania."

Today before the Ministry of Health, known as the Ministry of Anti-Health, we unfortunately present our request for the withdrawal of the order and the immediate cancellation, repeal of the order for the initiation of hormonal therapies, also known as chemical castration, of children from the ages of 13.5 to 18.

Our requests are justified by the need for a legal review of the act, guaranteeing standards of protection for minors, and avoiding possible and irreversible effects on children.

The document represents a critical institutional and civil stance towards an act of the Ministry of Health, which raises civic concerns about the legality of the order, compliance with international conventions, and the potential impact on the rights and protection of children.

Unfortunately, we are dealing with a Ministry of Health that should treat the sick, but in the hospital system in Albania, the sick are not seen as patients, unfortunately they are seen as clients.

A ministry that should cure cancer patients, a ministry that should be a ministry that should produce social policies and solidarity towards people in need who knock on hospital doors and do not find a cure.

An Albania in which, even due to a failure and an almost total bankruptcy of this institution that stands behind us, Albanians continue to leave Albania to find treatment in other countries and solutions to their problems in other countries," said Pano.
