From Tirana to Toronto, Albanians in Canada join calls for Rama's removal

The protest movement against the Albanian government has crossed the country's borders, including the Albanian community in Canada. Dozens of Albanian immigrants gathered in Toronto, where they expressed their dissatisfaction with the government and demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

During the rally, protesters held national flags and banners with anti-government messages, while there was no shortage of calls demanding the resignation of the prime minister and political changes in Albania. Those present declared their solidarity with the protests that have been taking place for several days in Tirana and other cities in the country.

According to the organizers, the protest is related to opposition to several government policies and projects, including planned developments in the Zvërnec area, which they consider harmful to the public interest and natural resources.

The rally in Toronto comes at a time when anti-government protests in Albania have been ongoing for more than a week, attracting the participation of citizens at home and abroad.
