Albania-Luxembourg friendly today, police impose restrictions on some axes of

The State Police has drafted a plan of measures to guarantee order and security before, during and after the friendly football match between Albania and Luxembourg, which will be played today, at 8:00 PM, at the "Air Albania" stadium.

As part of the friendly match, the Police will impose temporary traffic restrictions on some of the main roads near the stadium.

According to the official announcement, starting from 17:00 until the end of the match, the following will be blocked to vehicle traffic:

“Martyrs of the Nation” Boulevard, from the “Rogner” hotel towards “Mother Teresa” Square;

“Papa John Paul II” Street, at the intersection of RTSH;

“Dervish Hima” Street, near the US Embassy;

“Asim Zeneli” Street, near the US Embassy;

“Themistokle Gërmenji” Street, at its entrance;

“Ismail Qemali” Street, at the intersection of RTSH;

“Lekë Dukagjini” Street, near the former Republic Guard, reserved as an entrance corridor for vehicles authorized by the AFF;

“Abdyl Frashëri” Street, near the intersection of Libri Universitari;

"Willson" Square, where traffic will be diverted towards "Sami Frashëri" Street shortly before the end of the match.

Authorities clarify that Elbasani Street, the Ring Road and the "Bajram Curri" Boulevard will remain free for normal vehicle traffic.
