Bardhi in Parliament: Rama is hiding the real beneficiaries of strategic

Democratic Party MP, Gazment Bardhi, accused Prime Minister Edi Rama from the Parliament podium of a lack of transparency in major development projects and of favoring narrow economic interests.

Bardhi said that the government continues to keep the identity of the true beneficiaries of strategic investments secret, while criticizing the development model followed by Rama, which he described as concreteness without vision and without public interest.

He also raised doubts about the source of funding and demanded accountability for projects that, according to him, have been presented with great promises but have produced few concrete results.

"When I heard Edi Rama talk about billions of euros in investments, I remembered that he used the same language about the Durrës marina. In theory we have billions of euros in investments, but in practice we have a project mired in problems. One building is submerged 28 centimeters, the other 18 centimeters. How can I trust Edi Rama when he talks about vision? Tirana today is the product of this model, a city filled with concrete, without sufficient spaces and without sustainable planning," said Bardhi.
