Berisha in the parliamentary group: After the National Assembly, our motto

The Democratic Party held today the first meeting of the Parliamentary Group after holding the National Assembly a few days ago. 

In his speech, the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, said that now, after the National Assembly, the DP is entering a new stage. According to him, from now on, the motto of the DP will be: renewal, vision, modernization, organization. 

Berisha : Ladies and gentlemen, deputies.
After the National Assembly, we enter a new stage.
In a new time in which each of us is required to repeat from morning to evening, not once, but hundreds of times the words: renewal, vision, modernization, organization.
The only path to fulfilling our mission passes in these directions.
The last kilometer of our marathon will be successfully completed only when we, first of all as deputies, after all as deputies, as leaders and then the leaders and members of the Democratic Party at every level, will stop repeating this motto to ourselves.
And what should we do?
This is the sure way for us to successfully confront the power and rotten regime of Edi Rama. This is the sure way to transform the opposition, to vitalize it, to sow hope everywhere for Albanians.
The path that leads the Democratic Party to the full fulfillment of its mission, the return of free voting and its victory in the general elections.
I think and believe that in this motto there is everything real, everything completely achievable and everything vitally necessary for us.
There is and will be no one else but us who will develop, promote the vision of this party.
There is no one else but us who will modernize this party in every segment. There is no one else but us who will completely reorganize the Democratic Party.
The responsibility is greater than ever, an extraordinary responsibility before Albanians, before democrats, before our friends wherever they are.
Therefore, I ask each of you to have your own agenda based on this platform. Together we will elaborate the standards and criteria for evaluating the work of each of us.
Why did the Assembly vote for this motto? It voted because it felt it from the people's souls.
Delegates and citizens are asking us for renewal, asking us to multiply our strength to present and defend our vision, against a propaganda that deceives from morning to night that the Democratic Party has no vision, no program.
This is untrue, we have an excellent program, but our enemies are not only the government-controlled media that slander. Our silence is unacceptable.
Therefore, we need to multiply all our potential in communication and defense of our vision.
Honorable deputies, we must transcribe into laws all the major problems that citizens face, that producers face, that farmers face.
Dictated entirely by corruption and the theft of government officials. Yesterday I met a representative of ours and he talked to me about packaging. Can you imagine what a terrible fine they get for packaging? Just for packaging, for cash registers.
A system of thieves, transformed into rules on how and how to burden them. Yes, this is in every sector, in every field.
That is why we have this platform and on its basis we will raise the opposition in Albania to a new level, never seen before.
