Italy, Albanian truck driver loses his life at the port of Ancona

An Albanian truck driver has lost his life after being found inside the vehicle he was driving.

The incident occurred three days ago at the port of Ancona in Italy, at the entrance to the processing station.

The intervention of Red Cross doctors was immediate, but unfortunately they were unable to save the Albanian driver's life.

He was immediately rushed to the Torrette regional hospital, but the 68-year-old did not survive, despite the use of a defibrillator and first aid medical therapy, Corriere reports. Doctors said they suspect a cardiac arrest.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing, with autopsy results awaited, and the victim's name has not been released.
