Albania-Israel on "Air Albania", Police publishes plan of measures, here are the roads that will be blocked

The State Police has made public the plan of measures to guarantee order and security during the friendly match between Albania and Israel, which will be played on the evening of June 3 at the "Air Albania" stadium.

To ensure the smooth running of the event, authorities have announced temporary traffic restrictions on several main axes of the capital, while fans will be subject to thorough checks before entering the stadium.

The police urge citizens and sports fans to arrive on time to avoid delays and the flow created near the entrances.

Announcement:

State Police/Plan of measures to guarantee order and security, before, during and after the friendly football match between the teams of Albania and Israel, which will take place on 03.06.2026, at 20:00, at the "Air Albania" stadium.

The plan of measures foresees the tasks that all structures will perform, drawing on positive experience in planning, organizing and managing the public order and security situation during international activities.

For the smooth running of this activity, as well as to facilitate vehicle traffic in the city of Tirana, on 03.06.2026, the State Police, in cooperation with the Tirana Municipal Police, will apply vehicle traffic restrictions on several road axes near the stadium.

Roads that will be blocked, starting at 16:00, date 03.06.2026, until the end of the match:

• “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard, from the “Laguna” fast food, near the former Dajti Hotel bridge;
• “Papa Gjon Pali II” Street, at the intersection of RTSH;
• “Dervish Hima” Street, near the US Embassy;
• “Asim Zeneli” Street, near the US Embassy;
• “Themistokli Gërmenji” Street, at the beginning of the street;
• “Ismail Qemali” Street, at the intersection of RTSH;
• “Lekë Dukagjini” Street, near the former Republic Guard, entrance corridor to the designated parking lot for vehicles authorized by the Albanian Football Association only;
• “Abdyl Frashëri” Street, near the intersection of Libri Universitari;
• At “Willson” Square, traffic is diverted towards “Sami Frashëri” Street, shortly before the end of the match.

-Elbasani Street, the Ring Road and the "Bajram Curri" Boulevard will be free for vehicle movement.

In accordance with the plan of measures, State Police officers will exercise a thorough control over fans, before entering the stadium, in order to prevent the entry into the stadium of banners with racist content, fireworks, flares, pyrotechnics, metal coins, umbrellas, lighters, mobile phone chargers, cosmetic tools/products and other hard objects, dangerous to the life and health of participants.

We ask for the understanding of fans to show up at the stadium entrances, starting at 6:00 PM, as, due to the influx of fans shortly before the start of the match, they may miss the opportunity to enter the stadium.
