Thousands of citizens have marched from Skanderbeg Square to the Prime Minister's Office to oppose the resort construction project in the Zvërnec area.

 A metal fence placed by the State Police at the Ura e Lanës (Lana Bridge) has outraged protesters, who have torn down the metal barrier and flooded towards the boulevard.

In response, the police attempted to remove them with water and pepper spray, as seen in the video provided by Politiko.

Meanwhile, a little earlier, the head of the Police, Skënder Hita, announced that the metal fence had been placed in the framework of the Albania-Israel match that is expected to be held this afternoon at the Air Albania Stadium.

We recall that this is the fourth protest held in Tirana for Zvërnec.
