SPAK demands 14 years in prison for the "chemist" of the cocaine
The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPKA) has filed a complaint against Samir Rosales Rodriguez, who played the role of the chemist who would extradite cocaine from Frakulla's laboratory in Fier.

Prosecutor Adnan Jolli asked for a 14-year prison sentence for Rodriguez and told the court that authorities are awaiting the defendant's extradition. He was arrested in Colombia on September 4 last year.

According to the investigation, Rodriguez traveled from Colombia to Greece and then on to Montenegro and Albania. His task was to extract cocaine mixed in organic fertilizer, which according to SPAK is estimated to be approximately 480 kilograms.

According to SPAK, Samir Rosales Rodriguez is accused of committing the criminal offenses of "Drug Trafficking" committed in collaboration with the special form of a structured criminal group, "Structured criminal group", and "Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group".

The Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime Prosecution Office closed the investigations into the former socialist mayor of the former Frakull commune in Fier, Viktor Çervanaku, and 10 other people in December 2023, who are accused of trafficking 485.5 kg of cocaine mixed with chemical fertilizer from Colombia.
