Car crashes into motorbike on Laç-Patok road, driver dies, 33-year-old

A fatal accident occurred on the Laç-Patok road, where a vehicle collided with a moped.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the moped, 37-year-old LT, died at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, while the Police have arrested the driver of the vehicle, a 33-year-old woman from Fushë-Kuqja, in flagrante delicto, suspected of violating traffic rules resulting in death.

Road Traffic Specialists arrested citizen AS, 33 years old, resident of the village of Grëz, Fushë-Kuqe, Kurbin, in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense of "Violation of road traffic rules", resulting in the death of a person.

At around 1:00 PM, on 02.06.2026, on the Laç-Patok road, the vehicle driven by the 33-year-old collided with a moped, driven by citizen LT, 37 years old, resident of Fushë-Kuqe, Kurbin.

As a result of the accident, citizen LT was seriously injured and transported for medical assistance to the Trauma Hospital, Tirana, where, at around 18:40, he lost his life.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
