A road accident was recorded this Wednesday afternoon on the Levan-Tepelena national axis, near the village of Fratar, involving five vehicles.

According to preliminary information, a camper with tourists was also involved in the accident. As a result of the collision, three people were injured, including two German citizens.

The injured were immediately transported to the hospital to receive the necessary medical attention. Preliminary sources indicate that their lives are out of danger.

Police services and an investigation team have arrived at the scene, and are working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.

Initial suspicions point to speeding above the permitted speed limit as one of the causes that may have led to the collision, while investigations continue to determine the exact dynamics of the incident.
