"Renewal is no longer a slogan", Këlliçi: DP opens the
Democratic Party MP, Belind Këlliçi, has stated that the process of renewal of the DP has begun to be concretely reflected in the new composition of the National Council.

Invited to SYRI TV, he said that the delegates of the National Assembly have responded with their votes to the call for the opening and modernization of the party.

According to Këlliç, around 60% of the new members of the National Council are women and young people, while 71 of them are under the age of 35, a representation that he described as unprecedented in the 36-year history of the DP.

The Democratic MP emphasized that professors, excellent students, young professionals, and experts in technology and artificial intelligence have been elected to the highest governing body between the two assemblies, considering this as the basis of the new political alternative of the Democratic Party.

Këlliçi announced that the National Council will meet in the coming days to elect new party leaders, while expressing his belief that the spirit of renewal will also be reflected in the Presidency, secretariat and other leadership structures.

" The chapter of survival and resistance closed on May 30. Now we have opened the chapter of the alternative ," he said.
