Debate on hormone therapy, DP advisor: Ideology is being introduced into schools

Hormone therapy at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center (MUT) has sparked debate in public opinion, followed by a protest held the day before in the capital.

Invited to the News24 studio, the Democratic Party's advisor to the Municipality of Tirana, Jonathan Pano, described the initiative as an open attack on the traditional Albanian family and a great danger to minors.

According to Panos, the intervention of ideology in the health and education systems is taking place gradually, but with devastating consequences for the younger generations.

"When ideology enters the health system, it becomes a problem, especially when it affects minors. With the introduction of ideology from preschool to high school, it is like a small drop of water falling on a stone for a long time. If we leave it, the number of these people will be increasing. Let's let children be children. At the age of 13-14, you have emotional outbursts, you don't know what you want, no more having a person in the school system who tells you that maybe you are a boy imprisoned in a girl's body or vice versa ," he said.
