Gjithnjë e më shumë njerëz po i drejtohen inteligjencës artificiale për këshilla dhe mbështetje mbi shëndetin mendor, në një kohë kur problemet si ankthi, stresi dhe depresioni po shënojnë rritje në nivel global.

Sipas të dhënave të një raporti vjetor për shëndetin mendor, rreth 68% e popullsisë përjeton të paktën nivele të lehta ankthi, stresi ose depresioni, ndërsa tek grupmosha 18–24 vjeç kjo shifër rritet ndjeshëm deri në 85%.

Raporti, i bazuar në intervista me rreth 19 mijë të rritur nga 18 vende të ndryshme, tregon se 6 në 10 persona përdorin chatbot-e si ChatGPT për mbështetje psikologjike. Megjithatë, 45% e tyre shprehen të pakënaqur me këshillat e marra, ndërsa 38% deklarojnë se u besojnë këtyre platformave më shumë sesa profesionistëve të shëndetit mendor.

Gjetjet tregojnë gjithashtu se 46% e të anketuarve raportojnë probleme psikologjike, ku ndjenja më e shpeshtë është trishtimi dhe rënia e humorit.

Të rinjtë rezultojnë grupi më i prekur, me 43% që shfaqin nivele të larta ankthi, depresioni ose stresi, pothuajse dyfish më shumë se mesatarja globale.

Ekspertët paralajmërojnë se përdorimi i tepruar i ekraneve dhe varësia nga teknologjia mund të shtojnë izolimin social dhe vetminë, veçanërisht tek të rinjtë.

Sipas raportit, njerëzit shpenzojnë mesatarisht 5.1 orë në ditë para ekraneve, ndërsa 66% e tyre pranojnë se kjo ndikon negativisht në jetën e përditshme, duke përkeqësuar gjumin, përqendrimin dhe aktivitetin fizik.
