New details have emerged from the investigations into the suspected murder of Eglant Koçi, where authorities suspect that the incident was committed by his friend, Armand Shakaj, while an attempt was then made to hide the body in the Korrës peak area.

According to information published by the media, after being escorted to the police station, the suspect was confronted by the victim's family and relatives, who asked him about his connection to the incident and his presence in the police. He initially justified himself by claiming that he was only questioned as a person who was aware of Eglant's disappearance, adding that he had communicated with her the day she lost contact.

At another point, the suspect went so far as to ask family members to contact him if the victim was found, appearing concerned about his fate, according to reports.

The investigation has since progressed rapidly, with the seizure of security camera footage and analysis of it leading to the identification of the suspect within 24 hours. Authorities have also used cell phone tracking devices to narrow down the areas where the victim's cellphone is believed to have been moved.

Residents of the area and a shepherd were also questioned, who stated that he saw the suspect's vehicle in the area where the body is suspected to have been hidden.
