Vetevendosje responds to Rama: We have no role in the protests in Albania

The Vetëvendosje Movement has clarified that it has no organizational or political role in the protests that have been taking place for more than three weeks in Albania against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

According to him, Vetëvendosje is not involved in organizing or leading the protests, while some of its members have expressed personal solidarity with the demands of citizens protesting in Tirana and other cities.

"Vetëvendosje has nothing to do with the organization of these protests. Some of its activists or exponents may sympathize with the concerns of citizens, but this does not imply the party's involvement in this movement," Dugolli declared.

He also reacted to Prime Minister Edi Rama's comments on Vetëvendosje, considering them unnecessary and demanding that the head of government focus on the protesters' demands.

"Reactions to Vetëvendosje do not solve any problems. The Prime Minister must listen to the voices of the protesters and reflect on their demands," he said.

Dugolli underlined that the protest is an expression of the dissatisfaction of Albanian citizens towards the current government and has no connection to any political project imported from Kosovo.

His comments come after Rama, in recent statements about the protests, mentioned several supporters and figures close to Vetëvendosje, linking them to
