Zhupa reacts after Rama's statements: Cynicism towards the mother with the

Democratic Party MP, Ina Zhupa, has reacted after Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements regarding the protest held the day before, where among the protesters was a mother with her child with autism.

Zhupa described Rama's comments as "the height of cynicism," accusing the government of not showing sufficient support for families caring for children with autism spectrum disorders.

According to the Democratic MP, the main concern is not the citizens' protests, but the way in which, according to her, the institutions have reacted to them. She condemned the intervention of the State Police against the protesters, claiming that the use of force against citizens shows a lack of sensitivity on the part of the government.

The height of cynicism!

When a mother goes to protest with her autistic child, she doesn't do it for politics. She does it because she can't live anymore, because the state has abandoned her, because the help is not enough and her dignity has been denied.

Neither the crows nor the ravens took her to the protests. Her money and that of thousands of families in need today, have been taken by the fat pigs of power, those who have been governing for years without caring about the problems of the citizens. And after having stolen their future, now they want to deny them even their constitutional right to protest, by violating them with the police.

The very presence of that mother with her child clearly demonstrated that the protesters posed no danger. Nothing justifies the brutal and illegal behavior of the State Police towards citizens exercising a democratic right.

A prime minister who should be held accountable for why a mother with an autistic child is forced to take to the streets to be heard, chooses to attack the citizens who gave her support and label her as manipulated. This is not just irresponsible; it is a complete loss of human empathy.

The duty of a state is to protect the most vulnerable, not to humiliate them. When a mother with an autistic child feels compelled to protest to demand the minimum for a life with dignity, the problem is not the protest. The problem is governance. The problem is Edi Rama who will not understand that the end has come.
