A serious incident was recorded this morning in the village of Vidhisht, in Roskovec, where a 58-year-old man lost his life, while his wife was injured.

According to the preliminary police report, at around 06:00, RB, 35 years old, is suspected of having shot with a shotgun at his ex-father-in-law, KP, 58 years old, who died on the spot. His ex-mother-in-law, BP, around 55 years old, was also injured in the shooting and was transported to the hospital and is under the care of doctors.

After the crime, the 35-year-old fled, taking his ex-wife, RP, hostage, and taking with him the shotgun that was allegedly used in the incident.

Roskovec/Preliminary information

 At around 06:00, in the village of Vidhisht, Roskovec, it is suspected that citizen RB, 35 years old, killed his former father-in-law, citizen KP, 58 years old, with a shotgun, and wounded his former mother-in-law, citizen BP, around 55 years old, who is in the hospital, under the care of doctors.

 
Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services went to the scene, set up checkpoints and launched a search to apprehend the suspected perpetrator. Intensive checks are ongoing to locate and apprehend him.

From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that, after the incident, the perpetrator left the scene by vehicle, together with his ex-wife, citizen RP, taking the shotgun with him.

The investigation team is at the scene and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to fully clarify the circumstances and legally document the event.
