Fire continues to spread in the villages of Finiqi, firefighter injured

The fire that has engulfed the areas of Bregas and Shelegar in Finiq continues to remain active, while firefighters and residents are battling the flames in difficult terrain.

Residents of the two villages have been engaged alongside emergency teams, using makeshift tools to help isolate the fire sources.

A firefighter was also injured during the operation, who allegedly slipped on the ground and injured his leg. 

It was the residents of Bregas themselves who helped him, by notifying the ambulance and transporting him to the emergency vehicle to receive medical assistance.

Meanwhile, the firefighting operation continues without interruption.

In addition to the forces on the ground, a helicopter has also been deployed to help, intervening from the air to bring the flames under control and prevent them from spreading to other areas.
