All vessels in Saranda are prohibited from going to sea.

The worsening weather situation has forced the Port of Saranda to take restrictive measures for navigation in the southern coastal area.

Through an official announcement, the authorities have announced that, due to strong winds and high waves, all vessels in the Saranda, Ksamil and Borsh areas have been temporarily banned from going to sea.

The order affects every category of vehicle, including tourist boats, fishing vessels, and small craft.

The measure has been put in place to ensure navigation safety and will remain in effect until sea conditions calm down. The Captaincy will announce the resumption of normal navigation as soon as the situation improves.

Authorities have asked owners and drivers of marine vehicles to comply with the order, warning that failure to comply will result in consequences under the law.
