The Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party, Belind Këlliçi, has continued with the accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama, as according to him, suspicions have been circulating for years about the use of a private charter plane in illegal activities, including drug trafficking and money transportation.

In an interview on A2 CNN, Këlliçi stated that the Aruba case is not the only one that raises questions.

AI stated that there are indications and information collected from partner services, according to which the prime minister has treated the country's public assets as private property.

According to him, in Aruba there has been discussion about the division of public property and assets in favor of drug cartels, while adding that there are also other cases related to the transportation of money outside Albania and the corruption of foreign politicians.

"For years, Edi Rama has been talked about using his private 'charter' for both drug trafficking and money transportation. It is not just the case of Aruba, where the map of Albania is placed on the table and public properties are divided as loot for drug cartels. He further said that foreign authorities have intercepted communications of persons involved in criminal activity and that these materials have been forwarded to Albanian institutions.
