Albania is "burning" from the heat, up to 47°C, here's when

The heat wave that has gripped our country this Monday has reached its peak. According to meteorologists, the thermometer in Tirana reached 45 degrees in the sun this afternoon, marking the hottest day of the year.

The region with the highest heat values was recorded in Berat, with 47 degrees in the sun and 42 degrees in the shade. Tuesday will bring a slight drop in temperatures, but due to the humidity they will not be felt.

From Friday onwards, cooler days will be more pronounced. We will even have showers. But these cooler days will be with us for a short time, as the country is expected to be engulfed by another African heat wave.

Due to climate change, Albania is recording hotter days and nights, causing such scorching episodes to repeat throughout the year.
