Democratic Party MP Saimir Korreshi has ironized in the Laws Committee the government's funding of 4.3 million euros for Kanye West's concert, turning the discussion into a series of jokes with Justice Minister Ulsi Manja.

Korreshi raised questions about the way the concert tickets were distributed, while humorously saying that the opposition did not have the opportunity to be present.

"Why didn't we have tickets? The party didn't let us, it tore up our tickets. Did the ministry bring any tickets for us or were they only for the Socialist Party?", said the Democrat MP.

For his part, Minister Ulsi Manja responded with humor, saying that he actually wanted to go to the concert.

Korreshi continued the irony, saying that he did not know the American artist until he learned that the state would spend 4.3 million euros for his concert.

"I'm a villager, I'm still with Luan Zhegu. Now I found out who Kanye West was when I heard he would receive 4.3 million euros. In Lushnja, the whole of Myzeqeja sings with 2 million old lekë," he said.

The Democratic MP also demanded clarification on the use of public funds and the way the tickets were distributed, ironically saying that no one knows where they ended up.
