Euromoney crowns Credins bank as “Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility

Credins Bank is crowned with the most important award of the year “Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility 2026” by Euromoney, the most prestigious authority in the global financial industry. An extraordinary assessment that now positions Credins Bank as the first and only bank in Albania to be recognized with this award for corporate responsibility, giving another dimension to a multi-year journey of investments, projects and initiatives with a direct impact on society and communities.

A gala evening held in London brought together senior executives and representatives of banks and financial institutions from around the world, turning this ceremony into one of the most important meetings of the global financial industry. Among the big names, Credins bank represented Albania at Euromoney, where the bank's top executives were presented with the "Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility in Albania 2026" award. This award takes on a special meaning not only for Credins bank, but also for the representation of Albania in such an international arena.

Behind this assessment lies an extraordinary work and a commitment built over the years. During a long evaluation process lasting several months, Credins bank's activity during the period 2024–2025 was subjected to a very intensive process of documentation, analysis and presentation, bringing to a complete picture the extent of investments, projects, partnerships and all initiatives carried out, touching and impacting society in every corner of Albania. A process that went beyond the evidence of figures or results, thus proving not simply a consolidated model of success in corporate responsibility, but bringing about a new era of doing business. A model where financial success takes on a much greater and more human dimension, transforming into real impact and sustainable and developmental value for Albanian society.

Through the vision of the bank's directors and shareholders, corporate responsibility, now consolidated over the years, has been placed at the heart of Credins' philosophy, becoming one of the most important pillars of its identity and journey. With the same ambition with which the bank has expanded its presence and role in the Albanian financial system, ranking among the most influential institutions in the country, it has also expanded the map of its contribution through hundreds of projects and social initiatives in areas vital to the country's development. From education, health, art and culture, to sports, the environment, technology and support for communities in need, Credins has gone beyond traditional support, giving a new dimension to human investment and responsibility towards society and the community. During 2025 alone, Credins bank carried out 175 initiatives within the framework of corporate responsibility, oriented in line with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, thus significantly increasing its contribution in this direction and at the same time expanding the number of beneficiaries throughout the country every year. A commitment that once again proves the strength and seriousness of Credins bank in every initiative undertaken. This contribution of several years now takes on another weight through the Euromoney rating, a symbolic name of evaluative excellence in the global financial industry. For decades, Euromoney has been a reference point for the international banking industry, while the various awards granted by this institution are considered among the most important assessments, thus placing financial institutions from all over the world against the highest standards.

The Euromoney award adds to a long history of awards that have recognized Credins Bank’s commitment to corporate responsibility over the years. In 2023, the bank was announced the winner of the first prize “SDG Business Pioneers Albania”, in the large business category, in the competition organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), becoming the first bank to receive the maximum rating for its contribution in the field of social responsibility. From the United Nations award to the prestigious Euromoney award in London, Credins Bank thus confirms once again the strategic position and absolute value that it has today in the field of corporate responsibility in Albania. “Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility in Albania 2026” is another proud moment in the bank’s history, but above all an achievement that echoes beyond the borders of a philosophy born and built with great dedication in the small Balkan country, Albania.
