The protest held the day before in front of Parliament was also widely reported by foreign media.

"Al Jazeera" writes that protesters attacked the cars of Socialist MPs with eggs, following the protest which entered its 7th week.

"Albanian protesters have again thrown eggs at lawmakers, as anti-government demonstrations against corruption and resort to violence continue for the seventh week ," international media writes.

A protester, asked by journalists, mentions the demands they have, starting with the resignation of the prime minister and the annulment of several laws.

"The Albanian people are no longer being lied to. They are selling Albania. The homeland is in danger and we have been taken ," she said.
