Parliament locks doors ahead of protest, police bring out water cannon and metal

Two hours before the start of the plenary session in the Parliament, the State Police has initiated security measures in the area around the Parliament, following the announcement of the citizen protest expected to take place today.

A water-jetting vehicle has been placed in front of the Parliament building, while metal barriers have also been seen on the ground limiting the space in front of the Parliament.

According to the measures taken, the number of police officers is expected to increase, depending on the situation and the level of tensions during the protest.

The plenary session is scheduled to begin at 12:00, while citizens have announced protests in parallel with the developments in the Assembly hall.
