Dua Lipa, who openly came out in support of Albanian citizens, has returned to her statement against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The world-famous star has reposted on Instagram Story a part of her podcast episode, featuring Albanian writer Lea Ypi, where she talks about the protests, which she describes as inspiring, and about the changes to the law on protected areas made without public consultation.
"We cannot talk about the history of Albania without talking about Albania today. I find it disturbing that the government would change the law on protected areas without a public consultation ," the world-famous singer declared, among other things.
Her statement was welcomed by the citizens who gather every day in the square, but it also received coverage in international media, which wrote that an important figure had joined the protesters.
