Tragedy in North Macedonia, three Albanians from Kosovo reported missing found

A tragic event has shocked North Macedonia, where three Albanian citizens from Kosovo, who had been reported missing for two days, have been found dead inside an accident-hit vehicle.

According to Macedonian authorities, the Mercedes vehicle with German license plates was found overturned on the road connecting the Blace Border Crossing Point with Skopje.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that the police were notified of the vehicle at around 22:35 on Saturday. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found three people inside the vehicle, a man and two women, with no signs of life. Their deaths were confirmed by the Emergency Response Team.

According to preliminary investigations, a few hours before the discovery of the vehicle, a Kosovo citizen had reported the disappearance of three people to the police. The last contact with them was recorded on the evening of July 18, when they were at Skopje International Airport.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident and how the vehicle ended up overturned off the road. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
