Malltezi after the "Partizan" trial: Prosecutors lied, documents refute the charges

Malltezi after the "Partizan" trial: Prosecutors lied, documents

After the conclusion of the court session for the "Partizani" file, Jamarbër Malltezi, one of the defendants in the trial and the son-in-law of the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, appeared before the media, opposing the accusations raised by the Prosecution.

Malltezi claimed that the documents he presented during the process show that part of the property involved in the investigation is still registered as state property and that the Alimehmeti family has not received the physical compensation they were entitled to.

"This part is still listed as state property. The Alimehmeti family did not manage to receive physical compensation according to the law that existed at the time. The prosecutors lied and this is part of the falsifications that we have denounced ," said Malltezi.

Referring to the property's surface area, he said that the five owner families owned about 67 thousand square meters, while the former "Partizani" Sports Club covered about 45 thousand square meters, claiming that about 22 thousand square meters still remain unclaimed.

"The law obliged the state to hand over the property within 35 days, while the handover took place only after 9 months. This does not show favoritism, but an unjustified delay. Also, in the courtroom, Taulant Balla told 12 lies and none of the prosecutors took any action for false testimony ," he said.
