Winning the 2026 World Cup has brought Spain not only the most important trophy in football, but also a huge financial benefit.

According to Spanish media, the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) is expected to receive a reward of $50 million, around 44 million euros, from FIFA for the triumph in the final against Argentina. This is the highest amount ever given to a world champion and exceeds the $42 million bonus that Argentina received after its success in the 2022 World Cup.

But Spain's income is not limited to the FIFA bonus alone. Success at football's biggest tournament is expected to further boost the national team's brand value, bringing more interest from international sponsors and partners.

A significant portion of the bonus will also go to the players. According to the agreement between the players and the federation, 45% of the FIFA bonus will be divided among the 26 players on the team. Thus, each of them is expected to benefit from around 756 thousand euros gross, not including personal agreements with sponsors or bonuses from the clubs where they play.

The World Cup triumph is expected to have a long-term impact on Spanish football, further strengthening the national team's position as one of the most powerful sports brands in the world.
