An accident with tragic consequences occurred on the Çermë-Divjakë national road, near the village of Çermë Shkumbin, where a 39-year-old man lost his life, while five other people were injured.

According to preliminary information, two vehicles, a BMW and an Opel, collided head-on. Due to the strong impact, Barjam Kaçani, 39 years old, father of three children, who was traveling in the "Opel" vehicle, died at the scene.

On the other hand, the five people who were in the BMW suffered injuries. Among them are three children, who, according to doctors, are out of danger.

The injured were urgently taken to Lushnja Hospital, where they are receiving medical treatment.

Traffic Police services and the investigative group have arrived at the scene, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify the circumstances and cause of the fatal accident.
