Spain is the new world champion.
"La Roja" triumphed 1-0 over Argentina after 120 minutes of play in the grand final of the 2026 World Cup, winning the most important trophy in world football for the second time in history and ending Argentina's reign.

For "La Roja", this is the second world title after the historic triumph in 2010 in South Africa. Meanwhile, Argentina leaves the tournament as runners-up, losing the crown they won four years ago.
In a final that was expected to be spectacular and that kept the fans in suspense until the end, a single moment decided everything.
