A serious incident has been recorded on the coast of Vlora, where a 30-year-old tourist from Finland lost her life after feeling unwell while diving in the Radhima area.

According to preliminary data, the young woman was part of a group of divers who were exploring the marine area where the wreck of the "Spitaliers" is located, one of the most popular diving spots in the south of the country.

During the dive, the tourist is suspected of having suffered a serious health complication, which may have been the result of a lack of oxygen or another medical problem.

His group members intervened immediately, pulling him out of the water and urgently transporting him to the Vlora Regional Hospital.

Hospital sources indicate that the 30-year-old woman arrived in critical condition, with severe breathing difficulties. Despite the efforts of the medical team and treatment in intensive care, she could not survive the complications.

Police have launched investigations to clarify the full circumstances of the incident, while forensic expertise is expected to determine the exact cause of death.
