For 51 days, among the demands made to the government, protesters have also demanded the cancellation of the "Mountain Package".

Prime Minister Rama, in a statement made today, ruled out the possibility of canceling the "Mountain Package", defending the law in question as an opportunity for immigrants who, according to him, want to invest to give a boost to tourism and the economy.

Although the law in question has been met with criticism and reservations, Rama firmly states that it does not intend to steal property or land. But, according to him, it will give the opportunity and right to property to every individual who has one.

"Here we are not in conditions where mountains are sold. Here we are in conditions where mountains are being opened up to those who have inherited a property in the mountains. Here we are in conditions where people who have an orchard, which they have maintained for years and for which they have been unable to have the papers for the reasons I mentioned, can be provided with a permit to do an agro-processing. We are in conditions where thousands of immigrants have expressed interest because they want to invest. Tourism will become an increasingly significant economy. The mountains package is a policy for people, the right to property, the development of property. A policy that suits those who for years have not been able to turn their property into a financial asset. What do you mean by canceling the mountains package, that is, for these people to remain in suspense because some who see the mountains from the city, I have not seen any community of these who are affected because they do not have this package, to be brought up to say that this package is taking our properties. They can't wait, this is the result of many conversations, "Of many efforts, it is not something that was born in the blink of an eye. It is sold in the market of words as another act of betrayal. I am a traitor, that is another topic," said Rama.
