The storm also hits Albania, strong winds empty the Lungomare in Vlora

The storm warned by meteorological services hit Albania and several countries in the region on Tuesday evening, bringing strong winds, rainfall and electrical discharges.

In Vlora, strong winds forced citizens and vacationers to leave the coast due to the danger posed by trees and unstable objects. In the Lungomare area, businesses were forced to pack up their umbrellas and tables, as the weather conditions made it impossible to continue normal activities.

The storm has also affected Kosovo, where material damage has been reported in several municipalities. Among the hardest hit areas is the municipality of Suhareka, particularly the village of Vraniq, where the winds have damaged homes, businesses and agricultural land.

North Macedonia has also been hit by severe weather. In Skopje, strong winds have toppled trees, damaged roofs and snapped power lines, causing problems in some areas of the capital.
