A fire alarmed residents of the southern ring road of Elbasan on Monday afternoon, as flames engulfed an area of ​​vegetation near several homes and a service facility.

After the announcement, firefighters immediately intervened in the area, working to isolate the flames and prevent them from spreading to surrounding buildings.

During the operation, several explosions were heard, similar to the sound of bullets, which caused panic among residents and made it difficult for officers to intervene on the ground. It is not yet known what caused these explosions, while authorities are expected to shed light on the circumstances after the investigation is completed.
