Activist Ardesian Binjakaj brought a special symbolism to the 52nd protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama, presenting a crown with the inscription "King without people".

According to Binjakaj, this wreath represents the message that the protesters are sending to the prime minister, claiming that he has lost the support of the citizens.

"'King without a people', this is the crown we have prepared for Edi Rama. I have embroidered it with the simple message that he has now lost the support he had from those 800 thousand voters he mentions and we are decorating him with the loss of this support," said the activist.

He accused the majority of not accepting criticism or mistakes and that, according to him, the government considers every decision it makes to be right.

"Everything the current government does, they cannot accept even a single fault, not even a single mistake, not even a single criticism. In their eyes, what they are doing is always correct," Binjakaj said.

The activist also criticized the reactions of officials to the protest, focusing on the statements of Minister Blendi Gonxhja, who described the protesters as "fools".

"According to them, they are the smart ones and we, the people, are the stupid ones," said Binjakaj, adding that such reactions, according to him, show a lack of respect for citizens.

He stated that the 52-day protest is not only related to the issue of protected areas, but also to accusations of corruption, misgovernment and abuse of power.

"The Prime Minister should not make us look like the defendant. We have been coming out for 52 days and we are showing him why we are coming out. We have not come out just for the protected areas, we have come out for corruption, for lies and abuses," said the activist.

Binjakaj added that the protesters will continue their stance, claiming that the government has lost legitimacy and that efforts to delegitimize the protest have not worked.
