The toll from the serious accident that occurred this Tuesday afternoon near the TEG roundabout in Tirana is increasing.
The second person in the concrete mixer involved in the accident died in hospital after not being able to survive his injuries.
Earlier, another person traveling in a concrete pump vehicle lost his life at the scene, after the truck collided with a vehicle and then broke through the roundabout's protective barriers, falling to the lower level of the TEG-Elbasan road axis.
According to preliminary data, the two victims are Egyptian citizens. Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident, 28-year-old Roland Nuri, was transported to the hospital and is out of danger.
The police and the investigation team continue to work to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident and determine the causes that led to this serious event.
