Friends, colleagues and family gathered on the coast of Vlora to honor the memory of journalist Enrik Mehmeti, who tragically lost his life a few days ago in an accident in the Zvërnec area.
In the place where he spent a large part of the day, meeting tourists and promoting the beauties of the city of Vlora, those present held a memorial ceremony. With flowers in their hands and amidst emotions, they threw petals into the sea in memory of the 40-year-old.
Next to Enrik Mehmeti's photograph and to the sounds of funeral music, those present brought to attention his passion for journalism and love for the city that he promoted over the years.
The tributes became a moment to remember not only the journalist, but also the dedicated man and active citizen who left a mark on those who knew him.
