The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has completed the investigations into another part of the "Metamorphosis" file, sending nine defendants for trial to the GJKKO, including Ervis Martinaj, Nuredin Duman, Prekë Kodra and Aleks Ndreka, known as "Leksi i Druve".

According to SPAK, the defendants are accused of involvement in the activities of a structured criminal group, as well as serious criminal events, including the murder of Gjin Boric Ndoj in Vau e Dejës in 2020.

The prosecution also accuses them of creating the conditions and providing the means to eliminate Ibrahim Lici, Dorian Duli, Genc Tafili and Kleant Musabelliu, who were considered opponents of the "Bajri" criminal group.

Among the charges brought against them are "premeditated murder", "structured criminal group", and "providing conditions and means for committing murders", in addition to other criminal offenses.

Businessman Pëllumb Gjoka, Behar Bajri and other persons involved in this proceeding are also being tried earlier for the same file.

The file will now be subject to an electronic draw at the Special Court to determine the judge for the preliminary hearing. "Metamorphosis", built on the encrypted communications platform Sky ECC, has been divided into several factions, some of which have ended with court decisions, while others are still in process.
